Stupid newbie question - forum background

This may be the easiest question ever answered, but how can i place an image file to be the background on the forum.
Currently the background colour is set to black. I want the black part to be an image.

Where you set the background to black via the ACP Style Manager, try the following in the Background box instead:

#000000 url(images/background.gif)
