How to hide mods and admins from showing

Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and couldn't find anything. Using 3.6.1 and had a server crash so had to redo most. Before I had it where it would not show mods and admins under their name. Been so long since I did that, I forgot how.

I had thought it was under /forumhome/forumleaders

first: if you had a server crash why are you still using 3.6.1 then???

second: thats usergroups.php if you dont want them to show up change it in usergroup permissions

admincp->usergroups->usergroup manager->the usergroup (admins or mods) -> under usergroup options set visable on showgroups off

Because I had bought a vbb licence for that version and to update it to the latest will cost me. If I understand that correctly.

I had already tried what you posted wally and they still show moderator and administrator under their name. Did it several times to be sure and still they show. But I thank you very much for helping. :)

ok make them normal users then and them make them member of admin and/or mod group as secoundary group
