We keep getting bots advertising and spamming.

For some reason our forum keeps getting spammed with bots daily posting child porn and advertisements i.e. Viagra.

Does any one know why this is? Is it a Addon we have installed? Or are we listed in a database which alows people to access and spam our forums?

I've been getting them here lately also and it is quite annoying I have been reporting them to the abuse center as spam but it is terrible!

take a note of the last part of thir registration email addresses. if you see a pattern marging ban that e maill address i have had to ban at least 30 different email addresses for that same reason

Cant you be prosecuted if an authority sees it (child porn) on you forum/site?
We keep getting it daily, but we have added NoSpam! (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=124828) which should stop bots from registeting.

If any one knows why were getting them, it will be greatfull.

I was getting spammers with that @mail.ru e-mail address until I banned it. Now I get none.:up:
