I just had a user register and show up from another country. I have my site set up to moderate new members. This one slipped through somehow. How did this happen?
I am running the latest version of vbulletin.

So you have the Moderation option checked on the Registered Users group? Do they get moved to another usergroup that isn't moderated after a certain point? Do you have your Users Awaiting Activation usergroup also set up for moderation? Could they have been in that group?

Nope, somehow they got in. I am the only administrator and moderator for the site. The have to click the activation email. After they do that it gets sent to the moderator queue. It never showed up in there. This person was able to post on the site.

Check your usergroup permissions.

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> User Registration Options -> Moderate New Members -> YES
Allows you to validate new members before they are classified as registered members and are allowed to post.
AdminCP -> Usergroup Options -> Usergroup Manager -> (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation -> Post / Thread Permissions -> Can Post Threads -> NO
This is how a board I'm co-admin on is set and nobody has ever gotten past the COPPA stage without Admin approval.

That is all set correctly. Here's what happened. This person registered and never appeared in the moderation panel. The showed as the newest member under the stats field. All my usergroups have been set correctly so how was this person able to make it around moderation?
