Urgent Help needed!

Please help, I was trying to put in a portal for my forum, and I got it all in right, but I accidentally messed something up.

Installation Instructions

Open portal.php and locate the part where it asks for your forum path.

Enter this in the space indicated.
If you are unsure as to what your forum path is, go to Maintanence > View PHP Info
in your Admin CP and locate the line "PATH_TRANSLATED". Take the part from
/admincp onwards off this and the remainder is your forum path.


INSTALLATION IN FORUM DIRECTORY ONLY

If you are uploading to the forum directory, rename index.php to forum.php
and in your vBOptions go to Forum Home Page Settings and change
"Script Name for Forum Home Page" to forum

Rename portal.php to index.php and upload to your forum directory.

INSTALLATION OUTSIDE FORUM DIRECTORY ONLY

Rename portal.php to index.php and upload to the required directory.

In your Style Manager, change the image paths to be the full URL. You may also
need to change some paths in the CSS if you have any gradients or background
images.

In your smilie manager and post icon manager, change all the images to the full
URL.

Failure to change these image settings will result in broken images in your
portal.

ALL INSTALLATIONS

Upload the includes folder to your forum directory. The file contained in this
folder is set to the correct path for direct uploading.

Import the product file product-peterska2_portal.xml

Go to vBOptions > Portal and set the correct forum id number for where you want
your news items to be taken from. Set any other settings as appropriate here.

By default, the maximum characters in the news items is quite small. If you
wish to display the entire news items every time, then you should increase this
number from 250 to a larger one. On my site it is set to 25000.



That's all. Your basic portal is installed. Content for the side columns can be
added to the portal_left_column and portal_right_column templates.

Don't forget to click install for updates and support.

I accidetally overwrote index.php with something else in my FTP and now I cant get to my forum. I can get through the portal fine, but whenever I try to go to the actual forum, it doesnt work, and brings me back to the portal. Does anyone know what to do. I really need help!

Can't you simply ftp another index.php copy onto your site to replace the one you overwrote?
