Was this the ajax chat thread? If so... were there issues with the script or just the way it was presented to the community?

No files were uploaded to vb.org, just a link to another site. All mods must be locally uploaded.

Can I (or preferably someone else) post/upload it as a mod even if we didn't write if we get permission (which should be easy to get at https://blueimp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=485

The author (or someone with his expicit permission) can ofcourse release it as a mod here if it is within our rules.
