Hello Peeps,
I've had a good look around and dont seem to be able to find an answer to this one. For the first time I decided to have a look at the version checker in the dropdowns on the products that I have installed. However for all the ones on Vbulletin.org (99% of them) I get the message.
Version check connection to host www.vbulletin.org failed. Please try again later.
The error returned was: 'Connection refused'
Please could someone let me know if its something I havent done/setup. Cheers.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/misc.php?do=productcheck&pid=pvc <<Product version check Mod
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/misc.php?do=productcheck&pid=CFRules <<Cyb - Advanced Forum Rules Mod
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/misc.php?do=checkversion&t=152037 <<Radio and TV Mod (Although I'm guessing this one wouldnt work at some point anyways due to the old version of version checking)
Also although I thought 90% were vb.orgs, its more like 70% and some of the others I also get connection refused, which is what led me to believe there was something else I needed to do. I'm a little lost to be honest.
EDIT:- Funny thing is, when I click on the links I've posted, it gives me the version. Just doesnt show it me in my admincp

Is the vBulletin version checker working? Like the one which checks vBulletin's latest version at the very top of the admin cp.

Moved to Site Feedback.
I am not sure what could be causing this, maybe Paul has an idea.

Yeah thats working fine ..
Is it a possibility that vb.org may have blocked connections from my host in the past for some reason? The host I'm currently using is hostcolor
Cheers for tryin Marco :)

This sounds like a connection issue from your server to vb.org
If you're using pvc then it maybe that php is making too many attempts at the same time.

unfortunatly it happens when I try it individually. To be honest I only installed pvc to see if it was all of them that I was having the issue with.

Well it's still an issue at your end I'm afraid. Works fine here.

Did you try the url using something like wget from the server command line?
