Refresh Rates

Is there a way to increase the refresh rates on VB? I started a site and I find I have to keep refreshing as I'm browsing.

vBulletin doesn't refresh automatically (unless your using the AJAX stuff like quick reply).

What pages are you talking about? Why do you need to keep refreshing?
