help required with rss feed

Hi i need help with rss feed poster. I have added rss url of youtube, bbc.com and many other sites in my rss manager in admincp but they are not being posted on the forum. Am i doing something wrong. Please guide me.

I was caught out initially with the RSS Manager and how it works. As long as your RSS jobs are correctly defined, and enabled, you must have someone logged in to the site to make it work. Guests on site won't trigger the RSS posts.

What do you mean by this. I am talking about rss poster.

You are talking about the setup of an RSS Feed from the built-in vBulletin manager, yes?

AdminCP -> RSS Feeds -> RSS Manager

The 'rss poster' would then be the "User Name" defined in the RSS Feed definition. The user must exist (as far as I know). Are we on the right track or are you talking about something completely different?

The only other 2 things I can think of are:-

1. Your forum is turned off in the options, in which case RSS feeds won't operate.

-OR-

2. Previous successful tests, which you have now deleted/removed, need to be cleared from the rsslog table.

If everything checks out then sorry I'm stumped as to why it doesn't work for you.
