Navbar Issues.

Hi, sorry if this has been posted already, had a quick look through the threads and didn't see this answered.

1) I am trying to increase the height of my navbar from 19px to 25px - how can I go about doing this?

2) Also, when I use that code, there is a border on the left, top and bottom part of my navbar. I would like the remove the LEFT side only, but leave the top and bottom. How would I do this? :p

3) Finally, I am trying to put a border around my entire forum. Currently, I only have a 1px black border surrounding the forum - I'd like to have a border that looks like this:

1) Fixed height is extroadenarily bad for accessibility and usability. If you wish to increase the height and not limit those, you should add additional padding to the navbar.

2) border-left:0px;

3) I don't understand, sorry. But you shouldn't put </div> inside your JS tags, this should be declared outside of it, above or below is dependant upon its contents.

1. To adjust the height of your navbar, I took a blank navbar template and did this:

I added "height="25px" after the width tag and that worked.

As for the border around your navbar that is under the Main CSS.

2. Go to the Main CSS link in the dropdown menu of that skin and find the Popup Menu Control box. In Extra CSS Attributes on the right hand side you might see a tag for a border. Delete it.

3. You would go about the same way to add a page border. Just scroll to the top and add the same border tag under the "body" options in Extra CSS Attributes or the page background.

I have a question that mirrors this. is it possible to get rid of the navbits_finallink portion of this so that they just show straight across as one line isntead of the drop down?

So it would be this:

Board Name - Forum - Sub Forum - Name of thread

If you look at the navbar code, you'll see the thread title is actually in a different cell. So, remove the code (replace it with a $nbsp; ) and put it where you want. If you have long titles though, it could look pretty bad. Don't forget that not everyone has their browser open the same width or height that you do.
