I'm such a noob how do I change the logo/banner on the top

On the default it says vbulletin but i have a nice black skin and a nice black logo so how?

In your Admin CP > Styles & Templates you will see your list of styles. Find the style you are using and pick "StyleVars" from the dropdown menu. Then, in the second section it says "Title Image - This is the image located in the 'header' template, used as the main logo for your forum." and you may put the path to your own title image there.
