So I am looking at the possibility of organizing our teams a bit better for our forum.

I have considered basecamp by 37signals but that would require everybody to leave our site and have to hop over to theirs, which I believe would interrupt the flow of a typical workday a bit.

Also activecollab (http://www.activecollab.com/) seems to have a bit of promise, but isn't as polished as 37signals.

here (http://demo.pipelinedeals.com/deals) is another site that also looks cool, but is more for sale.

looks like vbulletin has something kinda similar called project tools (http://www.vbulletin.com/features_project.php).

so yea, drop a post if you have any ideas.

We've been using basecamp as well for a while - but now I'm starting to toy with th idea of just using vBulletin - mainly for the reason you mention - to many back and forth jumps between two systems.

My biggest concern right now is migrating all of my "threads" from basecamp to vBulletin.

Oh yea - projjject tools - in my limited testing environment has worked great.
