converting a big board to vbullein is it wise?

Hi there

I have one phpbb which I hesitate to convert it to vbulletin because it has about 15000 posts and more than 5000 members and about 6o registered users on line ever day.

a lot of mods and very active popular photo gallary smartor.

Is it wise converting it to vbulleting with all those internal links which will become dead
and I am still worried about my smartor photo gallary:confused:

15000 posts... 5000 users... for me is a small forum... and the convertion of internal links is possible when you use the 404 script found in the HowTos...

there are some available galleries here that have a import script that can import smartor content... or you can take the time to rebuild your gallery database if it is not that big... ;)

Yes its very wise. VB is way more stable then phpbb and has what you need to power large forums. more style and modifications. There are photo gallery's for Vb too. and really nice ones.

thanks guys I can not find the smartor import script any body knows where it is?

... will have to find a galery that integrate to vBulletin which have a smartor importer... coppermine used to have one on the shelf but was not released from what i read about it.
