Private Forums?

when i log out of my fourm all i see for the "Last Post" is private and when i log in i can see everything perfectly but i didnt set any permissions for unregistered users not to see the board though...can someone please help?

If you are positive your permissions are correct, then you must have installed a hack that has screwed it up somehow. Turn off your hacks and see if the problem is still there. And, then verify that your template wasn't modified also.

To verify your user permissions. I recommend setting up some test users.
I usually setup a registered member account with the site name.

For example.

sitename doodlewedgies.com, user name doodlewedgies(registered member)

Set up a user name in each of the usergroups you have, then all you need to do is logout and login with different privelages.

Admin - which you already are
Mod
registered user
