Basically, I'd like to have the first or the second post editable by registered users. Forget the wiki part if that complicates things.
A small group of people use a vBulletin instance for logging customer service events and storing configuration info and files. Over time it has become less efficient because a person needs to read several posts to get all (or the latest) info. If we could just edit the second post, the primary problem with this solution would be resolved.

Thanks for your help!

Is this the best place to ask this question?

There is a hack to make a users in a certain usergroup the mods of a certain forum, ie any posts in that forum are editable by that group, give it a shot, works fine in 3.6.x

Thank you very much.
It's not exactly what I wanted, but close enough. I'll take it!

I'm still looking for something exactly like this. Has it been done in vB?

Are you looking for VB3 or VB4 product to do this?
