View Full Version : New Posts are not disappearing !!!

At the 3.6.5 system, after i read messages they are still can be seeing at " New Posts" section. The new posts are not disappearing, they are allways staying at " New Posts" section.
What is wrong ? what should i do ?:confused:

was the time and date wrong at one pint and fixed? check the date of posts that wont move

There is nothing wrong with the time !
Plus none there are no posts moving, not even a single post !

Are they in the list showing as read after you have read them?
What Read Marking type do you use? Cookie or database based?
Try Updating your thread counters in AdminCP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters
Also to further troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

I have a similar problem.
New posts show up
If (for example) I reply to that thread the new post shows at the top of my list.
New Posts

It has always been this way... my members have just learned to live with it. But I would prefer that the post is not displayed New Posts until someone posts again.
How do I do this?

How do I do this?It's a setting. I have mine setup this way because I like it better.
