Nominations will be accepted until the 30st of November. Also, please note, that the current voting thread for BOTM November will remain open as well until the 30th of November as well.
When nominating please post the site name, URL to the forum, a short description what makes your board stand out from default vBulletin, and a reason for nomination that will motivate others to second the nomination. If the staff feels that a nomination post is too promotional it will be edited accordingly.
Any sites without a name, URL, description and reason for nomination will NOT be entered into the poll. Please ensure that your nomination is in the format:

Site Name: GuildClan
URL: http://www.GuildClan.com
Description: A website community dedicated to catering towards all gaming Guilds and Clans. Clans can advertise for new members, challenge other guilds, and be a part of a great community.
Reason for Nomination: The website has been in development for 2 years. It is just now starting to have PC Gaming Clans come to it for their advertisement and to find other clans for scheduling a competition. The community is growing, slowly, but surely. Changes and mods are still being made to the site every day. As an old former Clan Leader myself, I know how hard it can be to keep your clan together and active. My goal of this site was to give others an easier time and help restore a strong community among each clan.

Site Name:
Aunt Clara's Kitchen: Dominican Cooking
URL:

Description:
Aunt Clara's Dominican Kitchen is a website dedicated to promoting the Dominican Republic's culinary culture.
Reason for Nomination:
We turned vBulletin into a fantastic CMS which is fully integrated with our forum. I have to say that the two months spent on another version of the site based on another CMS was a waste of time. vBulletin did exactly what I wanted.
Our pre-vB site is 5.5 years old. We've been running on vB for over a year now. Our site is very popular for our niche, and we have basically no competition. vB has made our site interactive and has improved visitor loyalty tremendously.

Site Name: The World of Necrotania, Writing Community
Site URl: http://www.necrotania.com
Description: We are a writing community that focuses on the Fantasy and Science Fiction Genres, though we accept most any type of work. We offer a place for aspiring authors to post there works and get valuable feedback, as well as a place for readers to find new interests.
Reason for Nomination: We are somewhat unique in our approach to handling stories in that we use eFiction as our archive solution. This integration is nearly seamless, providing not only a single login to the site but consistent look across all areas by using a custom skin that pulls from the vBulletin templates.
In addition, the link now works both ways, providing random stories in vBulletin, as well as a list of the authors posted stories in there profile. The profile page is still being reworked and will soon contain all information on that author; the eventual goal is to replace the eFiction profile page with vBulletin.
vBAdvanced acts as the portal page, providing recently added stories and updated news items on the sites growth.
Since the site opened in 2002 we have constantly evolved and grown into a place that I am very proud to call my corner of the web.

Description: MK PitStop is a website that helps people with a number of subjects as follows:
Webmasters
Computers
Computer Consoles
Business
Ebay
Gaming
Graphics
And More
MK PitStop allows all ages from 13 upwards. The forum is free and fully moderated to keep all content clean and respectful.
Reason for Nomination: I have been running MK PitStop for 1 Years, 5 Months, 25 days today, this website was started to allow myself and others to help people in the best way as we can. I have been on the computer every day since I started this website, apart from 4 days when I was ill (I even worked on it, on Christmas day). This website is my life and my biggest hobby; I place as much information on there from what I learn.
In the future I hope to add more subjects to the forums so that it can help more people, but at the moment I am trying my best to not put guests off. When I first started the website I tried using a different forum software and was very unhappy with the hard work I had to place in to remove the bugs, but then I went with vBulletin and it was the best thing I ever did with the website. I have installed lots of hacks and even started doing some my self, thanks to vBulletin.com & vBulletin.org with there great community they made this happen more for me.
I would give my right arm to make my forum to become one of the top leading forums on the internet, maybe one day if I keep trying this will happen, but until then I will just hope for my website to win BOTM.
Thank you.

I would give my right arm to make my forum to become one of the top leading forums on the internet, maybe one day if I keep trying this will happen, but until then I will just hope for my website to win BOTM.
Thank you.
Seconded.

The game reviews section also attracts new gamers to come in and join and find information about games and get into the discussions. All reviews and content on the site are user created. The forum has over a dozen large modifications and a lot more plugins to make it easy for the members to post and the staff to do their jobs.
Reason for Nomination: The forum has been growing a lot since it came out. And a little push from other sites would greatly help out the forum grow much bigger and better. The members, staff, and I have worked on getting the forum to a high limit like this and we don't look to stop any time soon.

About: Trying to bring a new look to an original idea. Soft launching this weekend with the first few hundred images and members which is going to make it an exciting time.
Lots of small changes and tweaks along with the bulk of mods that have been installed. This includes language customisations, customisation of the "log in" page, customisation of some of the blocks vbadvanced is using, a clean style that has been modified from the FMs. Generally trying to make a clean quick running site that doesn't look like a "typical" vbulletin. :)

We also have a big arcade and a roleplaying section. Moreover, every week we hold graphical competitions -- Photoshop Olympics, SOTW, and more.
Reason for Nomination: Our community has been online for almost 2 years now, I am proud of my own design and our friendly atmosphere, as well as the decent share of valued content. We don't shower our members and visitors with adverts or newsletters, and regular participants can avail of our special goodies (exclusive downloads, free blog hosting without ads, occasional prizes, etc). Site Name: Talk Delaware

Description: The First Forum for the First State
Reason for Nomination: Talk Delaware just started this February and has grown tremendously from a brand new board to the top forum and website in the area.
The Community: The members are the best you could ask for as a admin, i rarely ever have to edit posts or discipline anyone cause all the members are just great intelligent posters. TalkDelaware was started because i saw a need for a good forum in DE after joining and posting on another DE board that was run very badly and the good people there hated it. Aside from the fact we have the best group of members i have ever seen the board and features basically speak for themselves.
The Mods: The forum is faced with vBadvanced and includes a custom made, mapped image, for a welcome header linking to all the main features of the site. These includes the forum, a full wordpress MU blog system available to all members, an arcade, and a photo gallery. Other features include a fully integrated flashchat system and integrated cafepress store among many others. I run 2 skins on TD, both from John at vbskinworks. The default skin is "TalkStuff" that i have totally recolored, customized and changed the css on to make it very custom for the topic of the forum. Most everything done to the site was done by me thru trial and error.
Past Winnings: Talk Delaware has also won many awards for excellence both at admin sites and locally. A few months ago it won "Delaware Readers Choice 2007 Best Website" from The News Journal which is the biggest news paper in Delaware. It has also won board of the month at adminfusion, a contest at vbsetup and another contest on vb-faq.
Thank you for your time and good luck to all!!

A few months ago it won "Delaware Readers Choice 2007 Best Website" from The News Journal which is the biggest news paper in Delaware. It has also won board of the month at adminfusion, a contest at vbsetup and another contest on vb-faq.
Thank you for your time and good luck to all!!
I 2nd this site as well :)

Site Name: Talk Delaware
URL: www.talkdelaware.com

Description:
Signoholics is a Free online community that has been scratch built & based on vBulletin standard style. It has been vB based for 3 months (previously on phpbb2.de). It is aimed at all intrested in quality sign design with a basis of exellence in layout following the traditional routes of the craft melding with mixed media & contempary techniques: a resource to introduce like minded folk and to make design better.
Reason for Nomination:
We hope that our forum provides an insight into what can be achieved with a standard vBulletin board. We have built a selection of highly customized & vibrant styles that reflect our design ethos. We have built into the forum a multitude of mods & hacks that compliment the functionality of the board inc: Any Media 3.1; Atakan Marquee Text; Advanced last X thread in marquee, JS; Country display for who's online; Members who have visited the forum; Radio & TV; Ultimate side colums; double navbar hack, along with a few of our own tweaks along the way. We have also customized the member profiles offering combined social networking & a database directory of professional sevices. ?
Seconded!

Site Name: Diabetes Daily
URL: http://www.diabetesdaily.com/forum/
Description: Diabetes Daily is the web's friendliest and fastest growing diabetes community.
Reason For Nomination:
First and foremost, we have a fantastic set of members. If you ask a diabetes-related question, you will get five great answers within an an hour. No thread goes unanswered. You can see for yourself by searching for unanswered threads (http://www.diabetesdaily.com/forum/search.php?do=process&replyless=1&replylimit=0&dontcache=1). Not bad for 500 posts a day!
Secondly, we have customized our vBulletin installation to simplify the user experience:
The vBulletin sign-on controls access to our whole domain, including full integration with Wikibetes (http://wiki.diabetesdaily.com) (our wiki) and disabling ads for site-wide donating members
The navigation design integrates perfectly with the rest of the site
The top navigation has been simplified to give quick access to new content at the top of the page
The right column is used as an account control panel as well as providing blog headlines
The breadcrumbs stand out above the forums and make navigation easier
We haven't done anything particularly crazy, but I think the final result is a very usable website. We have a lot of grandmas that are first-time computer users and navigate the site very effectively.
If you nominate it and like (or dislike!) anything in particular, please let me know. We're always striving to improve.
