If I wanted to pay a programmer to mod vBulletin, where should I go? Please do not say vBulletin.org and please do not say Scriptlance. On both sites, I've been completely ignored. I want to SPEND MONEY!!! No one has even offered a bid.

Note: I may sound like the idiot who made a forum post, waited 10 minutes and then said "WELL???????". That's not me. I'm a programmer myself. I just don't have the time to do these mods.

I just can't believe that no noe hasn't even asked how much I'm paying. (Maybe I have to include that in the ad/post.

My back is against the wall. I need this mod completed soon so that some site changes (which drastically reduced my income) can be offset.

Any recommendations on the best place to find vBulletin programmers?

vbulletin.org (just joking)

Members are always looking in the Request Forum..
the more information you post the better it is for you. Besides that - a lot of patience will go a long way.

It's the same anywhere you go.

I understand this. However, I'm just really suprised that in a world where capitalism "won", there aren't WAY more people jumping at the opportunity to get paid for anything.

You also must understand that anyone who does advanced coding does this for a living and has a full time job. So if they are doing this here either they are not a professional and do it as a hobby or they are doing it as a side job.

I see. I assumed that maybe there were guys who did Freelance coding for a living.

The best ones do, the rest if they did wouldn't make much out of that

I'd post in the request forums like everyone else looking for work :)

I've been doing that. I guess the urgency in this mod is a little greater now than it would normally be.

Luckily, I finally got someone at Guru.com. I actually got 2 quotes there!
