they generally come with instructions, and each hack has different ones.

Usually involve editing templates, uploading files and importing a product file.

I don't know that I would install something that has 101 pages of comments and is still in beta release unless I was really sure of what I was doing. Looking through some comments, it looks like there are some problems with the installation and getting it to work with other mods.

The vbulletin version i am running is 3.6.8 why

It most likely won't funciton correctly on that version, I wouldn't recommend it.
