Possible Modification of Permissions

Hello all,

Just a simple request that I hope you guys can do for me. (hopefully simple)
Is there any possible way to do the following:

An unregistered user clicks a link to any post on a certain forum on my board. They can view that post, yet when they click to view the forum entirely, it won't let them and it'll popup the "vBulletin Message: Please Log In" message.

Basically if they're going to www.forum.com/showthread.php?f=50&t=33333 it will let them view it, yet when they view www.forum.com/showthread.php?f=50 or www.forum.com/index.php, it won't let them without the please login message.

Currently in vBulletin you can't do this without shutting off the forums and the threads to unregistered users. If I enable permissions to a forum so they can see the thread, it'd open up that forum entirely, and on the index it would display it.

This would improve my registration rates drastically.

Please help :]
