How can I make it so banned users cannot view forum.

Is everything in your banned usergroup set to "No"?

WHat makes you think they are viewing the forum? if its just because they show up in who's online then don't worry about it, they are not actually seeing anything (except the ban message)

Everything is turned off, and it says that they are online and when I click their username and go to their profile it shows what they are looking at (someones thread).

They could be viewing that thread by a URL they put in. But they should still see the banned screen.
