Parse links in user profile

I'm trying to add a "My Links" area to my user's profiles, but I can't figure out how to have the links parsed.

I added a multiline text field where the user would enter one link per line. How do I make them actually link now?

Anyone have any idea? I posted at vb.com and got told to come here, so this seems to be my only avenue or enlightenment.

All I want is for a user profile field to parse links. Any help would be appreciated very much.
