The limit on attachments per mod is far from perfect, as it could allow many more files to be uploaded. A mod could have more screenshots and keep a history of versions.

This is just a suggestion, if there's a good reason for it to be like it is then forget this.

Why make them download multiple files?

there's no need for multiple files ..
zip them - I'm sure your users would prefer it that way.

Not with screenshots. I hate having to download zips and open them and what not. I prefer opening them in my browser :)

Me too. Something like Highslide where they aren't opened through a new window would be nice.

attaching 1-3 screenshots should suffice - some people want to attach 10+ (hence, the request for an increase in quota)

My request was to keep old versions of the mod. But being able to attach 10 screenshots could be nice too.

edit: make that 8

vbulletin.org is not designed to be an archive system, if authors want to store old modifications then the release threads here is not the place for that to be done. The current limit (10) is more than adequate.

And if you do have multiple screenshots that wont all fit in your first post, reply to your thread and attach the additional screenshots :)
