Hello.
Why can't I embed 3rd party video content into my forum pages, just the same as I can with normal webpages?
I'm trying to embed videos from GodTube.com (http://godtube.com) but so far I'm unsucessful.
I'm currently running 3.6.7.
I've tried what looks like the two most popular hacks for this, AnyMedia - which I couldn't get to work at all with 3.6.7 so I uninstalled it, and AME which I still have installed and got to work with YouTube, but I don't know how to write the RegEx code to get it to work with GodTube.com.
The thing that I don't understand, is since I have HTML enabled on my forum, why won't the "embed code" provided by GodTube work just the same as it does on a conventional webpage? Am I simply doing something wrong?
For more information about my problem or the embed code for GodTube, I posted a more descriptive thread (along with samples) on the AME support forum which can be accessed by clicking here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1367392&postcount=797).
If anyone has a suggestion, whether that's a different hack, a different technique, or any advice, I would greatly appreciate all assistance!
Thanks!
Jeff
