I would really like to modify it to read:

22 New Posts (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/search.php?do=getnew) since your last visit.

Am am not close to competent in knowing how to do this - anyone offer some guideance?

I know there is the link on the Nav bar to new posts. I noticed this mod on http://www.webproworld.com and like it

I did search for it, but found nothing ("new" is only 3 words, so vBulletin.org excludes that from the search function) .... so its something that is difficult to search for.
