help with hide hack

i have members who come across good material and post it up using the hide hack now my problem is i have guests sign up just to hit the thanks button and see whats hidden then they leave and dont return is there anyway to prevent this maybe some type of permisson hack where they need a certain amount of posts to see what hidden , im also a little lost on what can fix this...

thanks but i have this installed but problem is people sign up to hit thanks to see content then leave :(

Then just don't hide everything.
If you force people to join just to get something they'll leave straight after getting it.

That'll get even worse once you force people to have a certain amount of posts before being able to see everything. They'll probably end up spamming their way up to the post count needed and then leaving because they have what they came for.

It's best to have information people would come to your boards for to be mostly public (Some of the good stuff can still be hidden though) so if they are happy, or just grateful they will join your community out of their own will and you'll end up with more, friendlier, and more active users than if you hide everything.

It's a bit complicated psychology, but it works.
