Some people may have noticed this new feature at NamePros: http://www.namepros.com/
The forums are now organized through tabs using JS. That's an great idea for large forums and hell, should be easily done. :)

Ha I was just coming here cause I was at NP and was wondering how it would be possible to do this. I'd be grateful for a mod that could do this!

That would be nice especially since my forums might get bigger after I open them.

This can't be that difficult for an experienced coder. Anybody?

not really true.... just because one is an experienced coder doesn't mean that he/she won't be able to get bugs or errors :)

Bugs are the worst enemy of a coder especially when we fix one just to find out we just made 3 more. It could take days, months, or years till people can get most bugs out maybe not years but months yes.

They are using a script from dynamic drive called Tab Content Script (v 2.0)
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/tabcontent.htm
It's a very easy script to install and configure for use within vbulletin. I have it (as well as the AJAX Version) running on multiple sites. I just wrote a vbadvanced "how to" for the AJAX Version of this script a few days ago. Both versions are very easy to use.
btw...
They are in violation of Dynamic Drive Policies as the below comment has been removed.

True... finally had time today to play with it. Got it working bug free within a few hours. I doubt I did it the same exact way, but its efficient and works without errors or bugs

Didn't take me long to figure it out. I already hooked up Combs (www.bbwforums.net) who responded to me via this thread. I've actually had several members get in touch with me about it. Its not something that is ready to post on this site as a public hack tho and with 3.7 on the horizon, I don't want to publish something and then be pressured to get something working for 3.7
