Small (big) Dillema

Ok, so I am now in the process of moving my vbulletin over to another host, with the help of a friend that was offering me some space on his server. Thing is, when he tried to import my vbulletin db, it overwrote his....and now his forum is in a db error....my question to you is if there is anyway to be able to undo this option through phpmyadmin, or if the only option is to restore an old db.

He's just starting from scratch again. I just wanted to make sure that, that was his only option.

If you restore a backup into an existing database, then that database is overwritten. Only recovery would be to restore a backup of the overwritten database.
