multi upload for attachment?

Hi guys

I'm very interested to buy vbulletin but i need to ask one simple question, my forum (SMF) contains 10,000+ pictures uploaded by users via attachment.

big problem is it's taking LOOONNNNGGGG time to upload 100 pics, click attachment button, click browse, select a picture, click add attachment, all those clicking for just 1 picture! Users are getting fed up now.

Is there any MOD that will allows users multi upload in 1 go like multipowupload from http://www.element-it.com/Examples/MultiPowUpload/SimpleUpload.html

or like this http://www.saschawenning.de/labor/flash8/fileUpload/

so users can highlight 10,20 or 50 pictures and click upload all in few clicks.

or anything similiar like aboves? as long it'll reduce times to upload attachment.

vBulletin already allows for uploading multiple attachments in 1 go.

where???? all i see 1 go per 1 attachment.

did you actually read my original post? pls check the links i posted, you can HIGHLIGHT 50+ pictures and click upload. that it.

I did read your post, but i am not going to check external links.

On the image you provided the admin has choosen to allow 5 uploads at a time.

let say.....if you got 100 pictures to upload, how long it'll gonna take to click browse, select a picture, repeating 100 times lol gonna take long time.

i need to find a way round to select (highlight) 100 pictures, then click upload button, that it

I have not seen a modification that would allow for selecting more then 1 attachment at a time. After selecting they are however uploaded in 1 go.

can't you just upload manually via FTP?

dont mind to upload them via FTP but how to generate thumbnails and bbcode enter into postbox?

I don't think it's even possible under standard (X)HTML.

The script displayed on example is a batch upload processor, this is risky not only for the webserver but also for the client, as you need to give access to your HD inside flash, and this could bring to malicious actions from the code generated (you know, piracy, virus)

It would be possible btw to be able to create an import script that let you upload your files via FTP and then import them as attachments... we can see that process inside the ibparcade and some other systems.
