I've been looking for a MOD that is a review system that allows users (or a specified user group) to post an official review on something.

The key items of the mod should be:

1) The first post of the review should be stuck, much like here and the Chief Post mod.
2) The review itself should be able to break-down by categories which can be set by the admin.

For example, if you are reviewing a newly released movie, the categories would be:

REVIEW OF XYZ MOVIE
Acting: 4 stars
Special Effects: 5 stars
Storyline/Plot: 3 stars
Screenplay: 4 stars

TOTAL REVIEW: 4 stars

3) People can comment on the review, much like a normal thread.

The closest mod to this Ive found is GARS (Geek Article Review system) which is no longer sold or supported.

Thx for the recommendation.... I don't think that allows segregation within the review ... only gives 1 rating. I'd like to have 5 ratings of various criterion which gives the total review score.

Review of XYZ
Criteria 1: 5
Criteria 2: 3
Criteria 3: 4

Review Score: 4

Something like that ...

People have been offering to sell their GARS licenses after GeekMart has been closed. While I have a GARS license from a year and a half ago, I've recently purchased 2 more from users. :)

You have to be able to think outside the box, i purchased it about a month ago and so have others, just because the shop says closed dosn't mean it really is if your clever enough to be able to find the right link you have full access to buy GARS and the other products. The front door is closed but there is always a backdoor open ;-)
