Private Message Notifications

Hi All,

I run a vbulletin forum and for some reason my members are advising they have PM's but nothing really prompts them for checking there messages or notifying them of a private message.

What I have at present is a Flashing Envelope up on the right hand side.

I just wanted to see what are the most effective and stand out notifiers when someone receives a PM.

If possible, are you able to link the mod to your suggestion.

Tell them to enable pop-ups for new PMs. Its a default vB feature.

(User CP -> Edit Options -> Messaging & Notification -> Check the box next to "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up")

I just installed this kick ass feature for pop up PM box with a preview box. Works very well. Consider a search feature too for your PM. I have over 1500 PM in my box form the past 4 months and it saves tons of time.
