Hi,

I installed this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=122998) hack. It required I do the following template-edits:

Open template "navbar" and add "$cyb_frules_link" after "vbphrase[faq]</a></td>"

After installing this, the only problem I had is that the link is lime green -- which contrast with my forum greatly.

Also, on a less-important note, my button-spacer isn't visible between my lime green link and the other links. If someone could help me out, this would be greatly appreciated. :)

try adding <font color="colour">$cyb_frules_link</font>

I have this problem as well. Maybe check your Plugins for this mod, and see if you can change it there.

Try replacing
$cyb_frules_link
with

Try this...

In the Cyb-AFRules.xml file change this line:

<phrase name="cybfrules_rules" username="Cybernetec"><![CDATA[<font color="#66ff00">Forum Rules</font>]]></phrase>

to this:

<phrase name="cybfrules_rules" username="Cybernetec"><img src="http://popcornonthefloor.com/forum/images/ca_morpheus/misc/buttons_spacer.gif"><![CDATA[<font color="#617F9E">Forum Rules</font>]]></phrase>

Once done, just upload the product again. Make sure you select Yes to over write the current.

Sorry... didn't test this. My test board is off at the moment.

If you're getting an error, I'd pull the <img src="http://popcornonthefloor.com/forum/images/ca_morpheus/misc/buttons_spacer.gif"> line from the XML file. Just run with the color change.

From there you should be able to tweak your header to add in the spacer.

Try replacing

That but the link seperator in, but the button is still green, and it's spaced a bit too far apart. It's there -- if you want to look at my forum.

Ok, if you upload the xml through your manage products, it should be ok. Don't forget to mark yes at allow overwrite.

Ok, I think I got the colour. Upload this xml (allow overwrite again) if it works can you post your navbar template again and we'll see if we can get the space sorted.

I think you're looking for my "header" template, which contains the coding that was needed in the initial modification. I attached my "header" template.

^ Oh yeah that's the one ^_^ Glad the colour is sorted.
Try this for the spacing.

Find in header template:
</td><td class="vbmenu_control">$cyb_frules_link
Replace with:

$cyb_frules_link


Let me know if that works or not.
