main forum page

hi i want to place main forum page for my web.

suppose my web url is XXXXX.com and its a forum web so when so 1 open it firstaly a intro page appears with the link enter to forum or click to enter site,

so far i know i have to make a htmal page for that but what name i gave you like like index.html or wht ever

Hello notrious,

I am no coder or website designer but this is what I did:

Made a webpage I liked with the links to my forum on it.
saved it as index.html
uploaded it to the public html folder


That was it, when I typed in my web address www.xxxxx.com my web page came up and worked how i wanted it to.
