RSS Feeds

Hi!

Upon request from the members at my board, I've enabled RSS feeds in the vBulletin Options.

Now they ask, is it possible to configure this so the feed updates when someone replies to a thread? As it is now, it only updates when a new thread is created. Or do they have to subscribe to each individual thread?

I run a small forum http://www.basicroleplaying.com/forum/ (http://www.basicroleplaying.com/forum/)with only one main forum with activity. The other forums are part of the NuWiki, not active discussions.

Try lowering the cache lifespan in the External Data Provider options.

A very useful switch is the lastpost=true setting, this will display the RSS feed just like New Posts do, that is it will show the most recent posts.

Here is an example combined with RSS2 switch:
