Just started skinning

I just recently started first template and the only thing I haven't really figured out is how to make the templates go to the folder I want to access the buttons, etc.

Is it all manual template edits? If so which ones for the statusicons, buttons, etc.

Or is it just a quick switch from folders?

I think the default is it loads from /forum/images.

Hi,

I'm just about to start reskinnning myself on my forum www.theviolas.com but I'm not sure where to start. Did you look at the code first in the individual areas or the skins directory or something else?

I've done a few minor changes but woudl like to revamp the board giving it a new layout to replace the standard list of categories and content. I've seen a few in use but am not sure where to start doing the design.

Where did you start?

I start at the Main CSS. Make sure you edit the stylevar to make it go to the appropiate folder in your FTP.
