space after a smile

Hi,

How can I set it to automatically insert a space after a smile when clicking it in the editor... I belive it was a standard option someday.

Can any one help me? I'm ready to modify code.

Yeah this is quite annoying when using quite a few smilies in post reply or new reply. I can't seem to find the option anywhere :(
