Impex and avatars

anyone help me with this.

Have impexed my board over and all gone fine - but avatars (24 pages of them) are not showing for some users so i checked in avatars in admincp and they all listed as unclassified and not in the generic avatar group.

How can i move them all back without resorting to having to do each one by hand.

I have posted on vb.com the same question as above with no help.

can two forums share the same attachment folder ?

reason im askin is this

my attachments are stored in a folder on the ftp - and the backup forum is set to use another folder.Now the backup forum i was thinking of setting it to the same folder as the main one and then impex the attachments from old board so this way they would`nt have to be written again as they would all basically already be in same folder thus saving time on copying them elsewhere.

No, 2 forums can not share 1 attachment folder.

dont want them to but backup board is not open and is a replica of main board which will be shut when backup board is complete.
Attachments take up 33 gigs an ddo not have the space to copy the 33 gig to another folder so was thinking of of making the test board point its attachments to that board and then when do impexing it wont need to copy them as the location will be correct ?

No, if you are using ImpEx, it will copy the attachments anyway (and rename/renumber them).

yep it did as i never got a reply so i went ahead and done it - bad idea

i throught it would not renumber them so i now have 66 gig of attachments instead of 33 gigs with no way to delete the renumbered ones.

Think i messed up big style here :(
