Right Hand Column

Hi everyone,

I know this is probably pretty easy but wondering if anyone has implemented a right hand column (like what is at http://www.webhostingtalk.com) that is usergroup dependent (e.g. only shown to registered users, other usergroups don't see ads, etc...)
