Hi! Suddenly I've become interested in one question. What is your biggest pet peeves? As for me, I don't like rudeness concerning servers, when clients think that if they pay money, they can do everything with waiters or serving personnel. What about you?

One word: DRAMA.:mad::down:

My biggest one is the opposite of yours, Sinn.

When server owners, board admins, or forum staff think that just because they have a little flag set on their account... they can treat anyone and everyone on the board like crap. You see it right in the forum rules, most places: we will do whatever the hell we want, and if you don't like that you can shove it.

Deezelpope's gripe is similar. It's where the members think they can treat other members like crap, usually because Joe has been here longer than Bob, or Amy has a higher post count than Sarah, or Jeff knows the admin so you'd better not make him mad.

Members are the board, full-stop. Without members, you don't have squat. A little basic respect and common decency goes a long way. I've always paid attention to that, and it really hacks me off when people at other boards don't seem to care.

It almost sounds to me like Sinn is talking about restaurant servers...cuz he mentions waiters. I totally agree with him...been there myself.

You're also right on the money, CDarklock...on my site, everyone gets treated with respect, and it's also expected. And like in my signature here, our bottom line is No Drama, cuz we've all been places where drama reigns and it sucks! As for staff, well, it's just me. I'm friendly with everyone, and I'm everyone's friend.:)

I've always considered "drama" a fine line. I consider a person with a legitimate gripe that expresses it well to be within the bounds of what is acceptable.

I have heard that my board is "drama free" and I guess I like it that way but it doesn't mean there hasn't been tense moments and people acting like jackasses every now and then.

My biggest pet peeve? Traffic

This is why I live in rural Colorado.

the drama related to deezel is more related to women's or parenting forums if i fix it right.. lol not members related disputes.

on parenting sites, drama queens are more like trolls which make trouble based on their hormones.. .lol and i face a lot of these on my parenting sites... some big forums even closed due to these dramas... forums with 3000 members and one drama queen... imagine the impact.

True but not necessarily always the case...some men can be just as big of 'drama queens' as women. I have several in mind!:D One I know is the owner of a big board and a member here.:eek:

As a woman, I have hormonal fluctuations, but I also know how to treat others with respect, and not let these 'fluctuations' influence my behavior.

What is your biggest pet peeves?

Punk kids
People who stop in doorways
People who hit the handicap assist button to open the doors at my workplace when they could really use the exercise that opening the door manually would give them

Just to name a few....
