Some of my members are sponsors, they use the paid sponsorship in their CP.
I would like all Paid Sponsors to have their name bold in the member list. When I add the html, to the usergroup page, it bolds some sponsors and not others.
I have become totally confused. If they are a Member and a Sponsor, I want them bolded. If they are a Member then no bold.
How do I always make one usergroup the primary group?
I'm running 3.6.8
Thank you!

Go into your ACP,
Select the usergroup which you want made bold, by going to "Usergroups" then "Usergroup Manager". When you have found the one that you want to change, click "Edit"
You will see a field labelled:
Username HTML Markup:
(Specify an opening and closing HTML tag with which to display the names of users in this group. This applies to names that appear on Logged-in Users, Who's Online, Users Browsing Forum, Users Browsing Thread, Posts, Member List etc.)
In this field, type in <b> in the first one (left), then </b> in the one to the right
This is what is put before / after the username on the memberlist / who's online.
It's just HTML code, so depending on what you put in there, depends on how it looks.
<b> - Bold
<font color=""> - Font Color
<I> - Italic
<u> - Underlined
And so on.

should use span style, not font :)
<span style="color: #e21cf4;">
</span>

Thanks! I do that, but some members who are also sponsors don't get bolded. How do I make the sponsor user group override all others?

Set the sponsor usergroup as their display group.

I have 133 members that purchased a sponsorship in the past year. We upgraded the boards recently and I went in and edited the paid sponsorship user group information.
They are still showing up as Registered users as their primary user group and Sponsors as a secondary group.
I see I can go in and change it sponsor by sponsor so they are only in the sponsorship user group.
Is there a way to do this in a mass way?
If I were to create a new user group, with all the correct permissions that I want, can I then promote the sponsor group to the new group I create? Or will that mess things up more?
I want to be able to identify the paid sponsors of the site, but as I'm finding this is becoming troublesome. :confused:
