An example is better than a long explanation.
Here is a french website that use a private custom mod which allows "Wiki Threads" on any forum.
No need to understand french to see how it works, go there : forums.jeuxonline.info/forumdisplay.php?f=561
See the sticky threads prefixed with [wiki] ? Open one and... you're in wiki mode !
- Only specifics usergroups or users older than x days/months can modify the wiki.
- At the bottom of the first post (the wiki one) you have a "latest modifications" box where you can see and compare modifications made to this wiki post.
