invalid file while attaching.

I have added a new extension as .torrent into Attachment Manager with following settings.

Maximum File Size = 1000000
Enabled = Yes
Win = Yes
Thumb = No
New Win = No

I can verify that extension has been added by looking in attachment manager however when I open manage attachments while creating a new thread I can not see extension listed in the allowed extension list (Attachment Key).
On uploading the file I get an error saying invalid file.

What can be wrong ?

Are your permissions set to allow them for that usergroup? And I assume you have this for the mime type "Content-type: application/x-bittorrent"

This is only happening with the .torrent extension attachments, right? Do you have any checking for the announce url going on when you try to upload the file? Could that be why you are getting the error?

I'm trying to think about whether I had to add that extension anywhere else in my server files, but I don't think I did so this is puzzling.
