does upgrading vbulletin coz any problem if the board has custom skin ?

If there are template changes during the upgrade you will need to revert/modify the template so that it contains any changed code from the upgrade.

can u check if there is template change for the current version of vbulletin ?

Whenever you upgrade to the latest version, a message will be displayed in your AdminCP alerting you that there are outdated templates. You can then use vBulletin's template comparisons and the release documentation at vBulletin.com to update your templates accordingly.
