Recent Messages Outside of forum

I was wondering if there was a way for me to show reent messages from vbulletin in a non-vbulletin webpage, I have a x-cart ecommerce package that I would like to display recent messages from vbulletin on.

You'll need to manually query for them in the other script.

So would something like an RSS reader integrated into x-cart be the easiest solution?
