This hack is in response to a request by Breathex in thread https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=155474
What this hack will do is display the time remaining on a banned user right underneath the user title in the postbit.
This helps your forum members keep track of what's going on with their fellow members.
This feature may be set to:
Public (both guests and registered members will see the time remaining info)
Registered members only
Admins, supermods, and mods only
To set these options, go to the vBulletin options section and select 'Show Ban Time Options' from the drop down menu.
To Install:
1). Import the product via the Admin CP
2). Modify your 'postbit' and/or 'postbit_legacy' templates as per instructions in the readme text file
3). Done!
Revisions:
version 1.1
Added the ability to limit this feature to admins and moderators.
If not limited, then you may also select whether you wish to allow unregistered users (guests) to view this feature.
version 1.2
Now ensures code is only included when called from within 'showthread.php' or 'showpost.php'.
Do not forget to select 'Allow Overwrite' when re-importing this product.
version 1.3
Fixed error when poster is an unregistered user

If a user is banned permanently. Will it just say Ban Time: Permanent or something of that nature?

Currently it says "Ban is Permanent!", but since its a phrase you can easily change it to whatever you want.

Adding some screenshots would be nice for intelligibility of this modification. I would like to present some screenshots but own language of my forum is not English.

So what is wrong with using another language?
Why not attach the images here in a post.

Does 'Ban from Thread' & 'Ban in Postbit' are complementary one to the other???

They both use the same hook but this hack shows the time remaining on a SITE ban.
The other mod does not have such a feature, yet.

I'm afraid this mod is causing SQL errors to be emailed to me. When I have this enabled, there are RSS related SQL errors. When I disable this product, my RSS works fine and no errors are emailed to me.
I have disabled this product for now.

I think to install it, thanks in advance for the work.
Anyone know if ther's an add-on that ban user at specific time?
Ex:
Ban a user after 24 hour from "now"
Thanks ;)

Have had to uninstall, as it causes an SQL error on some threads.
MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 1' at line 4 Error Number : 1064 Date : Thursday, October 11th 2007 @ 04:23:11 AM Script : http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/showthread.php?t=107139 Referrer : http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/search.php?searchid=1306696 IP Address : xx.xxx.xx.xx Username : moderator Classname : vB_Database
It appears that it doesn't like threads where users do not have a user id, such as users who have been deleted or forums where guest posting is allowed.

rolfw1, thanks for reporting the error.

This mod author FullyTested sent me a disgusting PM insulting me and calling me names when I inquired as to why his 3.8 mods all had their downloads removed.
