I have heard that convector do not convert passwords and all members need to reset their password by themself. Is it true ?

I believe that is true when converting Invision, this is due to a password storage issue, havent done one of those in a while.

Thats a bad news. It will be a huge loss of existing members if converted this way. Every single member needs to reset their password.

It's necessary to maintain a good level of security, if you have something to offer people won't mind taking that extra minute to reset their password.

How will you lose members? Valuable members won't mind spending a minute of their time to reset their password.

There are lots of sites offering bollywood entertainment. My finding says that only 10% members are active in my kind of forums and most of them will not bother to use forget password. But i am sick of IPB's limited support , modules & modification. I love my Vbulletin forums. I just have a IPB forum and i am thinking to turn it to Vbulletin. Discussion here will make me strong enough to courage this move. Just making sure how will everything go afterthat so i can give support to my members on this move.
