No offence, but there seems to be a decent amount of those who seem to prefer vBlogetin, vBJournal, Zoints etc, but I don't really get why they then say it's lacking? I mean how many features did vBulletin 1.0 have? You can't expect add ons to have features equivalent to four series in one release. Besides, even though this sounds really odd, vBulletin Blog is actually quite advanced compared to some blog components of online software? I mean, I had to use a blog component on one site before that was simply one page, you edited one entry and couldn't add any others. You had to add all entries in one space, and manually add the dates. No comments, no friends, no RSS, no nothing.
Secondly, buying it tonight, with the 'to fax' form printed and purchase ready extremely soon. Because I want this feature, and it's only about £30.
Any comments?

You answered it yourself. I am used to the superb quality of vbulletin 3.6.8. Call me spoiled. Therefore a blog suitable for vbulletin 1.0 does not yet live up to my spoiled standards.
I have no doubt that vbulletin blog will get good. But I'll wait for that. It's just a little early for jumping on board now.

I really like vB Blog, it does it's job and integrates well with the way that vB works, feels more like a natural extension of vB then vBlogetin did.

The other point is that to be blunt, if you happen to be used to 3.6.8 quality, I really doubt any current blog/social networking type add ons currently released are even of that quality/feature load. Either way, I guess it's a personal choice whether to buy now or later.

Be lucky some other forum developers didn't make it for their software. Like the overpriced UBB or Jive forums which charges hundreds to thousands of pounds. Besides, it's only about ?30. About as much for a forum year renewal.
