arcade.php too slow [Archive]

i've a fresh vB and i just installed the Zero's Arcade on my board but i saw that is too much slow to load the pages ...

what can be?

40 games per row? Or do you mean per page?

This is really odd that its slow.

What skin are you using in the arcade settings? Try flipping to the v3arcade skin and see what happens.

vbulletin general page generation time = 0,xxxx
arcade page generation time = 2,xxx

I found it slow using ibProArcade 2.6.3 but having upgraded to 2.6.5 it is better.

I'm not sure to help since I can't figure out why it would be slow, if you don't consider the time it takes to load a crap load of images on a page. Because that takes time.

I have around 3700 games currently loaded in my arcade and it moves just fine to me.

Any chance your server is slow at delivering images to a browser and the fact that the arcade has so many unique images on a page, that's the issue?

server page generation time and browser load time are different things.
