would like to see a good hack to make the replies for the announces are the number of announces , and the views are the views of the announces , to replace them with the ( - ) and ( - ) :)

how about just making a forum where only an admin/mod can post new topics to, but anyone can reply? :)

that would defeat the purpost of forum specific announcements, and some announcements might only be for that one forum.
