It's nice to have them listed, but what good is it the way it is sorted?

Can it be sorted by installed dates, instead of having them jump up and down according to last posts? Having an installed date would be most useful, specially when we need to track down latest installed in order to troubleshoot.

Uninstalling is already AJAX'd. :S

There is no AJAX... :)

Well there is but it felt like a Matrix moment...

I doubt that would be implemented as that would be quite server intensive, especially with 250+ mods installed ;)

Unless you mean individually... But I hardly see the point...

That's not so important as much as having them sorted by date. Sorting by date I think is vital. Sometimes we install a mod then we encounter troubles a week or two later. Then it is a big hassle having to remember which one was last installed.

I just thought it could have been cool for us to have our little accounting corner where we could manage our installed mods by uninstalling them directly instead of having to look for the thread. Everybody having such a space simply ensure loyalty, and feels secure to know that we are organized.

I swear I remember that I could uninstall directly from the Installed Mods page. There used to be a small "Mark As Uninstalled" link. :S

The prefixes (Installed, Updated, Downloaded, Tagged) are all ajaxed.

Just click on the prefix (Installed) and it will be uninstalled (that applies on any thread view).

(Before anyone asks, the uninstalled prefix is not displayed once you refresh the page, it's just incase you did it by accident, clicking again will re-mark as installed).

A lot of people like the newest posts at the top (I happen to prefer that).

However, I'm not opposed to changing it if a majority prefer to have it sorted by installed date - a simple vote should be enough to determine peoples preference.

Points ot bear in mind ;

The updated mods will continue to be listed first, irrespective of any other order change.

If a mod is in the updated state, then when you clear the 'Updated' status, it does it by changing the install date. You may consider that an advantage or not, but be aware it happens.

The installed date will not be visible anywhere on the list.

I'm not having a problem with the system as it stands at all. :D

I think it should be coded as an option. The system as it is now, is fine for me. But others may find the other way useful. One or the other should be a good choice.
